This was what I was talking about the other day. The DA wanted to have Misty sentenced on the theft charges as soon as the jury left the room to start deliberating on the murder trial. Thankfully, the judge refused and said no sentencing would be handed down until the jury reached a verdict in the murder trial. I felt like sentencing her on this before the murder verdict on the murder charge could sway the jury one way or the other. I guess the judge did too, or at least wasn't taking any chances.

Bonnie you have NO clue what you are talking about. That wouldn't sway the jury, they already know about all the theft she committed! Gosh you are a complete idiot!!

Bonnie,

You have most definetly been smacked in the head with a Bob & Frances Witherspoon boat oar!

The jury already knew about the embezzlement charges...duh!!!!

Obviously you have not read any of the text from the press, only what you have been told by Bob, Frances, and Sabrina. I think you stated in your blog that you had spoken with Bob about this very matter and he was very concerned about the prosecutions tactics. You were not at liberty to speak at the time because it some big top secret information that NO ONE COULD KNOW. Hey Einstien, old news!

I think there was a quote in a blog directed at Sabrina and should now be directed at you, and it goes as follows.....Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to SPEAK and remove all DOUBT!!!

I would like to suggest that when Misty is sentenced we get together and have a candle light vidual for Quinn. I would like to show my support and I imagine that a lot of you would too. I thought about having it at his house but that probably wouldn't be a good idea because of the kids so maybe the police department or another public place? What do you all think? Lets show how much we loved him and appreciated his life and service to us all. Comments very welcome.

Bonnie, the jury was not in the room. How could it possibly effect their opinion? Hopefully they will add about 20 years for the theft and idenity theft to a life sentence without parole. That's what she deserves.

My hopes is that tomorrow all of us who knew and loved Quinn get the answer we have been waiting for and Misty is found guilty.

I will never forget that week in September of 2005. I watched as our department suffered and grieved for the loss of Quinn. I watched as our Honor Guard practiced non-stop for three days to give Quinn a proper burial. I was there when hundreds of police officers, sheriff deputies, state troopers, probation/parole, civialians and many others came to pay their respects at the funeral home. I heard the stories from people that Quinn arrested in the community about how much they respected him. I saw the awesome display of support from officers at the church and I watched as the Honor Guard gave him a 21 gun salute and I cried when I heard "459 Concord, 10-42" played over the loud speaker. It made me sick to my stomach when I saw the Honor Guard hand Misty the American Flag that was on Quinn's casket. I hope that Flag is given to his children.

Quinn will forever be missed by everyone that knew him but he will never be forgotten!

Always remember 459 and "Do the right thing!"

Peggy,

Suggestion...candle light vigil at his grave site, so we can all finally peacefully and with truth, put him to rest.
I will be watching for responses.

The Witherspoon's have no say so at the cemetary, but they may at the house. Quite honestly, I don't think any of Quinn's supporters and friends would welcome any part of the Witherspoon's or Keller's at the vigil. I know you are suppose to hold the vigil where his soul was taken, but I don't think he is truely resting in peace in his grave with all that has gone on. I think the cemetary is a good idea.

I agree with you the cemetary would be the best place. I would be there and know many others that would to. For Quinn's sake. Yes, none of the Witherspoons or Kellers should be there! Only the people who are really there for Quinn! Just let us know.

I'm sorry bonnie has bowed out of the forum before telling us what was suppose to happen on the news I stayed up late just to watch so I could be informed of the dasterdly deeds of the prosecution. But there again it seems Bonnie has been told and passed on to us "A STORY A STORY". What mother does not want to know what happened to their child??? What mother does not want to know what happened in that house and now her child is facing life in prison or death does Mrs. Keller have no concern for her child to not ask what happened???? Well the mothers who truly love their children want to know what happened, we will stand proud to support Quinn in a candlelight service. The cemetery at night might be a little cause for concern because of lighting and someone possible falling and getting hurt I would think the football field at the school would be a good place. You would have plenty of lighting till everyone could get on the field and after the service lights could be turned back on to safely get everyone off the field. There would be more parking for people and who can forget how beautiful that field was when they they had all those American flags flying there a couple of years ago. I think a candlelight service there would be just as beautiful. I'm sure as a teen growing up Quinn spent happy times with friends at that stadium. Remember his good times and not the sadness where he lays in the ground unable to be with the children he so loved. When his children get older they can go in that stadium and remember that people cared and loved their Dad so much that they gathered here to hold high their candles and honor him.

How about the baseball field across the street still would have plenty of parking. Just heard guilty in the first degree

Finally justice, may you now rest in peace, you were a good man who loved a bad woman.

If everyone is in agreement with this, I will contact the Concord Police and let them set it up. I'm sure we have to have some kind of approval with the school or town or something and they can probably get it done easier. Let's aim for the baseball field at 9pm. Bring your candles and extra's if you have them. I love the cemetary idea but it is awfully dark and I don't want anyone getting hurt. I will keep posting as I find out more. Thanks so much for supporting my idea but most of all supporting Quinn.

With all the headlights of all the supporter who stand by and stood up for Quinn, that cemetary will be the brightest place on earth and we will know that Quinn will finally rest in peace. The vigil can be held at dusk and there will still be enough light.

Thank you god, and thank you for "Doing the right thing!"

When are you wanting to hold this service? Please let us know so we will have time to get there and directions.

Hopefully there would be a big turn out parking at the cemetary would be limited. It may cause problems with anyone wanting to attend that is handicapped. Baseball field makes more sense Quinn spent time on that field as well.

Concerning the candle light service for Quinn...
We have set it up for tomorrow night Tuesday 17th at 8:30 at the Cemetery. It is Glenwood cemetery and is in Mooresville. That is where Quinn was buried. We've invited the Concord friends of Quinn And it is open to all who supported and loved Quinn Witherspoon. I'm sorry we couldn't get it worked out for today but it will probably work out best for tomorrow. More people will be able to come.

I did contact all the other places suggested but it is a lot of red tape getting those places and could have taken weeks.

See you tomorrow at 8:30
