Mr. Witherspoon you and your family have Quinn's blood on your hands. To sit there and say he is still your baby after what you have done, and how you and your family have displayed yourselves to the is media is absolutely appauling. You and your family are not, and I repeat, not christians!
You and your surviving accomplices are cold blooded, unremorseful wastes of human flesh and should not be breathing our air!

GOD BLESS QUINN AND PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE JUSTICE HE SO RIGHTLY DESERVES.

BOB, MISTY, FRANCES AND SABRINA, THERE IS RESERVATION FOR YOU, AND THEY ARE NOT IN HEAVEN.

You cover up a theft from your church by your daughter in law from good god fearing christians!

I am asking everyone to display black and blue ribbons on their mailboxes and homes in support of "JUSTICE FOR QUINN" until this trial is over. It is time that we show that we as a community care. We can't speak to the jury but they can see our actions.

If you are so strong in your beliefs then why are you posting as annonymous? Why aren't you proudly displaying YOUR name? It's people like you that are quick to judge and condemn, but only if they can do it annonymously. If you had to say it in public or to their face you would say nothing. Coward! At least the Witherspoon family is standing on their beliefs and doing so in public and not hiding. They believe in what they are doing and have the strength to say so no matter who disagrees with them. It was THEIR beloved son. Who are you to condemn them for how they handle their grief or how they support their daughter-in-law?

If your so proud ms. Bonnie then leave your last name or maybe a number where you can be reached. Those of us that have chosen to not list our names do not want to be bothered by the family of someone who kills, we may be killed for saying something. It is the family's right to support her, but we have just as much right to speak our minds too.. she was the only one in that room with Quinn. She was the only one that could have pulled the trigger. This was no accident and most certainly was no act of God.

Bonnie - Coward would be holding a LOADED WEAPON anywhere from 6" to 24" from the head of your childrens father's head while he lay asleep!!

Bonnie
Everything the family is going through right now is all thanks to Misty...the anonymous quotes go with the territory..If you don't like what's said Don't read them...

Bonnie I have been reading your comments. Sound like you to may have taken some money from the church too. Get real.I have seen all this ^%#@$% going on how for almost 2 years. I am so tired of the chuch people having to put up with this SH--- and if you say what you think you are told you do not believe in God.

The church is God's house and we are to go there for worship. Not seat there and pray for Misty and hear how bad everyone is treating her. For God's sake she killed the man and also took money from our church.

The Witherspoon family is trying to get the paster fired from the church because he does not believe the same way they do. That is not right. Why do they not leave the church and leave the rest of us to worship GOD. You can go too.

As a person that believes in God and the police department (because of cops like Quinn) I can forgive Misty but that does not mean she shill does not need to pay for her doings. For God's sake she killed the man in his sleep and took money for the church.

I always think what would Quinn's family do if he was killed by a drug dealer or someone like that on the line of duty. (I know alot of good cops like Quinn, and they are always on duty). But I have a hard time believing the Witherspoon family would forgive them that quick.

GO LISA MILLS....I AGREE WITH YOU!

Lisa, I can at least respect your opinion because you have the courage to not hide behind being annonymous. I can't tell you what happened in that room that day, only God and Misty know. I know I have spent time with her since then, I have seen the help she gave to a lot of women in jail when she was there by reading the bible to them and continuing to minister to them when they got out. Several of the women she befriended in jail got saved and have turned their life around since getting out. I can't discount that.

I also see her sitting quietly in church enduring the judgement of others that claim to be Christian, I see her available to help anyone in need, I see her being a devoted mom to her kids, and I see her being a woman who is facing her charges and not running from them. She isn't asking for anything but a fair trial, period.

She didn't ask Quinn's family to feel sorry for her. They have known her for a lot of years and know that whatever happened that day Misty is not a cold blooded killer. That is what they believe and they have the courage to stand beside her and forgive her for whatever happened because they KNOW in their hearts that Misty is not the type of person to hurt a fly.

That doesn't in any way discount the fact that Misty is responsible for the death of Quinn Witherspoon. Nobody is disputing that fact. What they are disputing is that it was a cold calculated plan. Misty is responsible for picking up that weapon and the end result being Quinn's death. Its up to God and the courts as to what punishment she is due. My prayer has always been that God's will be done and that He knows her heart and her intent and HE should be the one in control of judging her.

All the family is asking is that people allow her to have a fair trial and let the courts decide and quit beating them up in the meantime for their beliefs.

Annonymous, you don't even rate a response.

First, let me say what a sad situation for those innocent children. We all need to pray for them. They don't have a choice in the decisions that have been made for them and the life they are having without their wonderful father who adored them. But as the trial goes on and of course everyone has an opinion, whether it be right or wrong, there is just a few things that go through my mind. A failed attempted suicide over bills and debt collectors is just hard to believe to me. Where did all the money go that was taken from the church? If you have that big of a spending problem there is ways of getting help and better yet, QUIT shopping. GET A JOB like the rest of us. If your families have all this money to bail you out for killing their loved one and repaying money that you stole from your church family, why couldn't they pay your power bill? Too proud? I might be wrong but the average person just doesn't think about killing themselves just because a bill is due.Another thing is the whole neighbor lady theory who would come and right down messages and put them in the microwave just so Quinn wouldn't be upset about it. If you wasn't paying them anyway but you knew they had been calling, why didn't you just unplug the phone. You weren't there anyway. It just seems that the deeper you dig the more deceit you would uncover. No one is perfect and no one should judge. I just can't see the logic in killing yourself over a bill that is due. True Christians know that God doesn't forgive that. And to be so SELFISH to have your children grow up without a mother or father is just a shame. As far as the whole anonymous thing goes with Ms. Bonnie, you shouldn't judge. Maybe you should have paid the bills Misty created and hid from her husband. This whole mess wouldn't have been gotten this far and these precious children wouldn't be left without a FATHER. I still see Misty all dolled up as she is out shopping and all her jewelry on, it makes me nauseous to even look at her. My opinion doesn't count but neither does a liars!!!

Anonymous said...

Jim, you prove my point. If someone doesn't agree with your point of view, then they must be a thief or crook too? That is insulting and ridiculous. Because I believe that Misty is entitled to a fair trial and Quinn's family has the right to support her if they choose, that makes ME a crook? Maybe you should look in the mirror.

And I DID leave Whitman Park, not because of the Witherspoons but because of ALL of the crap that is going on there. There is no room for God in that building with all the arguing and bitterness and unChristian behavior there. Its not a church any longer, its just a meeting hall for a lot of bitter people that say they believe in the bible, yet don't live it.

You are entitled to your opinion, as I am. I don't believe you need to insult and demean those that don't happen to agree with yours. If you ARE a Christian, then you should be on your knees asking for your own forgiveness for being so unchristian. Its not our job to judge Misty, lest we be judged. Let God and the courts sort out what she is due.

BONNIE GET OVER IT!!! YOU LEFT THAT CHURCH B/C THEY DON'T SUPPORT THIEVES LIKE YOU AND MISTY AND QUINNS PARENTS..

Anonymous said...

After the testimony of Frances Witherspoon, one is only left to believe that she was in some sort of conspiracy with her daughter-in-law. She knew of Misty's embezellement charges and was receiving "the fruits of Misty's Labor," ie, her shopping experiences. How does a mother not ask as a first question when seeing her son dead on his couch, "what happened?" To say that to this day, she has not asked Misty that question is just dumbfounding. Frances made a complete idiot of herself on the stand and appeared as if her daughter-in-law was more important to her than her son. And she calls herself a Christian? You certainly do not fit my definition of a Christian. What is it Frances, are you in conspiracy with Misty or do you just not want to raise the children because you are too busy with your own life. If she killed your son, she is capable of killing your grandchildren. How dare you let her have the opportunity?

OKAY FINE...LET THE SPOONS HAVE A FAIR TRIAL...BUT THE MINUTE THEY SAY "LIFE IN PRISON", OOPS DOES THAT MEAN IT WASN'T FAIR??? OOOPS, DOES THAT MEAN LIFE IN PRISON ISN'T GOD'S WILL..JEEZ I CAN READ IT NOW IN THE LETTERS TO THE EDITOR.......AND QUIT USING THE BIBLE ONLY WHEN YOU FEEL IT'S NECESSARY TO USE..JEEZ! QUINN'S GONE, WE KNOW WHY HE'S GONE, AND IT WASN'T BECASUE OF THE PRECIOUS LITTLE FLUFFY CATS!! IN BIBLE DAYS, WHEN YOU MURDERED, YOU WERE IMMEDIATELY STONED TO DEATH!!!!

SUPPORT QUINN AND PRAY FOR HIS KIDS...

Anonymous said...

Didn't one of you annonymous people say they were tired of feeling afraid to say anything in support of Quinn? Well I guess I should be the one in fear for daring to express my thoughts on this case. I am now a theif, liar, and crook because I dared say that I think she should be considered innocent until proven guilty and that the courts and God should be the ones judging her.

I guess this is what a lynch mob feels like. I apologize for intruding on your bashing with my opinion. I guess you need someplace to let it out and church doesn't seem to be working anymore.

And just so you know, I would prosecute my sister if I found her to have stolen anything. I am not a theif, nor do I think it was the right decision to have swept Misty's theft under the carpet at the church.

I believe in full disclosure and the church as a whole had the right to know and decide how to handle it. However, our pastor and the deacons made a decision that they thought was the best for everyone involved, including Quinn.

I'm not asking for anyone to look the other way at anything she did. I'm just following my biblical teaching in letting God judge and the courts. I will respect whatever verdict they come back with.

I will continue to support the concord police dept and any fundraisers they have and have the utmost respect for them as well as the mooresville pd. Its the brutal so-called Christians that want to lynch me and anyone else that doesn't share their opinion that I fear.

I now know why you people post as annonymous. Maybe I should have too.

Anonymous said...

Absolutely not Annonymous. If the court comes back with a verdict of guilty in the first degree I will not say a word against it. I will respect it and trust that God's will and the court system has done their job and thats the way it should be. I trust in God that much.

I truly believe He will insure that this trial ends the way it should. Maybe that is naive, but that is what I believe and how much I trust in Him.

No hard feelings to you Ms. Bonnie.
You sound like your hearts in the right place. I just loved Quinn a whole bunch. And feel so bad for those kids. I think Gods will, will prevail too. I'm sorry about you having to leave your church I know what that's like and it's hurtful too, seems like alot of hurt is happening from all of this. And that's what the most upsetting. I wish God could take it all back, but it's done. All we can do is pray. From the first Anonymous but still anonymous.

Come on Bonnie!! What is your deal. You believe so much in your church, huh. Well your story has changed several times! You go from talking about precious little Misty preaching the bible in church and she is innocent, now u say she "may" be innocent. Which is it? What do u believe? All of us that are anonymous at least KNOW what we believe. We haven't changed our story. That sure must be a popular thing to do up that way. Change your story and you are innocent.

Yeah u have the right to your opinion and all of us are NOT using this to BASH his dumb family! We are just hurting VERY badly over everything. From the way she killed him in COLD BLOOD, to his parents supporting the idiot! We have lost a dear friend and a great police officer! No, we can't bring Quinn back, but here on earth we can support him! Like you can support Misty and those dumb Witherspoons! You have to live with yourself, we don't!

Furthermore, Quinn is respected more by the drug dealers, thieves and everyone else he arrested than by his own parents. What sense does this make? When we have people with records and part of that due to Quinn, coming up to us supporting him and his parents supporting his murderer. How do you expect us to feel?

Anonymous said...

Bonnie,
How dare you make a comment such as God not serving at the church you "use" to attend! Because its not what you want to hear. How hypecritical of you (being a christian of course) could say that when you nor Misty has shown acts of one of Gods children. I think its sick that you can sit here and brag on Misty and pat her on the back for sitting in a jail cell and read the bible to her fellow inmates like she has done a good thing. You have to live it before you can preach it. Of course I guess if I was accused of theft and murder I would do whatever looks good to the public too!! Stealing from your own church, using your sister's ID, and taking a wonderful father away from his children who will never get to experience his kindness and love. Yes I can see her living by the book. May God bless Quinns little children and justice is served!!!

Bonnie- As you stated "I have seen the help she gave to a lot of women in jail when she was there by reading the bible to them and continuing to minister to them when they got out. Several of the women she befriended in jail got saved and have turned their life around since getting out. I can't discount that." Now did you witness this for fact or let me guess Misty told me so.

And as for her trial. She is receiving a fair trial. Judge Taylor has proven to be very fair.

Anonymous said...

Geez, I understand that you all have passionate feelings about Quinn's death but dang, do you have to rip apart anyone that might not totally agree with your methods? I've not changed my story. I said over and over again that I DON'T KNOW what happened that day. NOBODY knows what happened except Misty and God.

You all claim to know what happened but unless you were there you don't. I have said that because I wasn't there and don't know I am praying that our God who DOES know what truly happened will intervene and make sure the outcome of this trial reflects what happened. If she killed the man in cold blood then I have faith that God will see that she is found guilty. If she didn't then I have faith that God will see that she isn't found guilty. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. I pray for God's will to be done, period!

I care about the Witherspoons as people. I still do. I see their pain and I care. I can't shut that off. I see the numbers of officers in the courtroom and I see their pain and I care for them as well. Is it possible for someone to just simply care for another human being in pain without it causing so much ugliness? I have nothing but respect for the officers in Concord and Mooresville. I respect their feelings and they respectfully sit there in the courtroom and show their support for Quinn without being ugly. It can be done.

As for Whitman Park, unless you go there then you don't know how hard it is to be there. Its no different than this forum, bitterly divided. There is so much tension and ugliness going on there that it is impossible to worship God. I can't handle it. I am not a person that enjoys conflict. Its never ending there. I feel like I have deserted a sinking ship but I just can't walk through those doors anymore. I feel like we have all let God down and continue to let Him down every time we walk through those doors, from the pastor down through everyone sitting in the pews. The bitterness and ugliness in that church is as bad as it is here.

I want justice done the same as everyone else does, I'm just willing to put it in God's hands and the judicial system to decide what that is.

Regardless of how you feel about the rest of the family, please continue to pray for the kids. They are the ones that are ultimately going to pay the price for this no matter how their father died.

I was in the courtroom yesterday...and i have to say...the prosecution is right on target!! Sure, nobody knows excatly what happened that day because they weren't in that house..but when you see when she talked with duke power, then when the 911 call was made..then his head being turned by her, and now finally the gunbelt with blood all over it (in the bathroom floor like she said it fell, yeah right).........you cant say she's innocent!!! It's totally impossible to sit in that courtroom and think "she's innocent"...she's not!!! I have NO reason to lie to anyone about what i heard and saw...Quinn deserves Jusice!! This is definitely "A Story, A Story".....

Why do we not see or here Drey's opinion?? Does the whole family believe in Misty? I just wonder because I know how close the have always been, and you think Quinn would have spoken to Drey about Misty's spending habit!!

Bonnie Mac
I have sat and read every comment you continue to write and have decided you need help. Your time needs to be spent with your doctors and not your computer. Our church was a good church with a good pastor until Misty had to tell him there was no money left. From that point on he has protected Quinn and Misty and the rest of the family. You have no idea of the prayers and tears and heartbreak he has endured because of all of this. When he finally talked with the police, he then became a horrible worthless preacher! Who dragged our church into this ugly pit? Witherspoons and people like you!!!! You need to be on your knees and not at court getting more ugly details from people you have trashed when it fit you needs. I pray God does reap his justice on everyone who has torn His Church apart and that includes you too!!!
