How unfortunate that because this is a wonderful family who ignorantly is supporting the killer of their son our community has not spoken out more. If she were someone else we would all be screaming for justice, but because his family supports her we all don't know what to do!! Stand up for Quinn, he was selfless, God fearing, and loved his family. Let the God she and we, believe in prevail and justice be served. She broke laws and will be punished, she does not deserve to be with her children or enjoy the same freedom's as we do, she is a killer, even worse a cop killer!!!

I drove past a house on Magnolia Street earlier today, near where Misty Witherspoon shot her husband in the back of the head two years ago. Some gutsy soul has a huge sign that reads "Don't let her pull the trigger on justice". It's sure good to see somebody who's taken the muzzle off in this town. Jeez. Where else can somebody shoot a sleeping cop in the head and nobody, I mean nobody, makes a peep. Wake up people. There's a trigger happy murderer walking around free in your town, with the blessings of the murdered cop's family. It doesn't get much scarier than that.
Misty a/k/a SATAN committed the murder of her husband for purelt greedy and selfish reasons. To show tears would be showing remorse, and she has no remorse for what she did. That is why it is so easy for her to smile and laugh in front of the cameras. She obviously thinks she is going to walk away from this trial with no consequences because she has been able to manipulate Quinn's family into believeing her lies. She has spun her web and caught them in it. It is unfortunate that our tax paying dollars will have to pay for her, and she will still be able to breathe our air, but it should not be from the outside of a prison! In a perfedt world, Quinn would still be alive, and she would be taking a dirt nap. Remeber to show and keep up the support for Quinn, becaus his blood family has turned their back him and that is one thing I will never be able to understand. God did not decide that on September 13, 2005 that it was time for Quinn to come home to him, Misty a/k/a/ SATAN decided it. Stand proud and be loud for your support for justice to be served in the name of Quinn Witherspoon!
She knew extactly where that safety was on that gun. She was married to Quinn for 11 years. The safety was off that's how the gun was able to shoot. Being startled by a Cat might make you flinch but not pull a 11 lb. trigger!!! Give me a break, she is guilty. If she had time to say that she was thinking about the good times and I heard my kids on the monitor,then she had time enough to think about what she was doing. I think the plan was to kill him and then kill herself but she could not pull the trigger on herself. God Bless those Children for having to go through this life without a mother or a father because of their mom's selfish act. Please remember Quinn.
Those children are better off without her in their daily lives. Who knows what she might do to them for her own selfish reasons. We have already seen what she did to her husband. JUSTICE FOR QUINN WITHERSPOON, PUT HIS KILLER AWAY FOR GOOD!!!!
I too, am a good freind of Quinn Witherspoon and also his family. I am so shocked that Misty does not see all the %&^&^#$ she has done to everyone close to them. I loved that man for the person he was. And it kiils me now to see his family turn on the things he stood up for. The people on your side are trying to come up with any reason for the 12 people on the jury not to beleive in the police department. But it is not going to work SORRY. The law is going to win this one. Justice will win. What defence does she have. She was the only one awake in the house she surely can not say the twins did it. And if she is sick does she not need to be in a rubber room. Not out running around Mooresville ask people to feel sorry for her. The only people I feel sorry for are those 3 little kids that had they're live turned upside down by they're own mother and only her. Not the courts or the Church. Poor church that she goes to. They surely did nothing wrong but everytime the news in on, the church is being showen in the back gound.
I hope some day those children can have some kind of nomal live.

Put her away for life if not in the ground to relieve the hurting hearts of those 100+ officers who have stood by his side and felt a feeling and experienced a moment most feared in life as a police officer. She needs to be put away with all the other filthy, law-breaking animals. I don't wont my family near a town that supports a murderer. WAKE UP PEOPLE....SHE MURDERED HER HUSBAND....WHO WAS A POLICE OFFICER AT THAT.....I know in my heart that Quinn's children will always have a family through the police service and will be taken care of. What a shame!! I knew Quinn for many years and he was a great man. I have 2 kids of my own and to think that idiot wife of his killed him thinking "ol everyone will believe poor Misty". Then for his parents to actually support her! They must not have any remorse for losing such a great son if they can look at that MURDERER in the eyes and believe her. Quinn's kids belong with an adoptive family that will save them from such CRAZED people. His parents, her and her parents DO NOT deserve his children!! Justice will be served!!! RIP Quinn!! We will keep you in our hearts forever!!
Good Lord there is a lot of "annonymous" ugliness in your comments! If you truly feel as strongly as you do then why post annonymously? Just a question. Is it easier to beat someone up and ridicule them when they don't know who you are?
I, too, know the family and attend church with them. Misty has NEVER, EVER asked anyone (that I have heard of) for anything since Quinn's death, especially not for anyone to feel sorry for her. She minds her own business and spends as much time with her children as she can as she knows all too soon she will be going to jail for some period of time. They didn't sentence her for the money issues on purpose as a fall back in the event they don't get the verdict they want in the murder trial.
I am not stupid, nor am I blind, nor do I know what happened on that day, only God knows and Misty. I choose to follow the bible and let God judge what should happen to Misty.

5Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
I have faith that God's will will be done and that whatever punishment Misty is or isn't due God will make sure it is done. I respect Quinn's family for following their beliefs even in the face of daily riducule. They loved their son and believe they are doing the right thing so who are all of you to judge them? They lost their beloved son! It was their son, their grief, their right to forgive. At least respect that. To forgive Misty and support the truth of the case does not mean they didn't love Quinn or don't care that he is gone or that Misty is responsible. They only want the truth in court and a fair trial, nothing more.
They want their grandchildren to have the best life they can and that includes their mother. If it doesn't, then they will do whatever they can to give those children a good life. Give them a break people. They loved their son and miss him every day and are doing the best they can and following what they feel is right and what Quinn would have wanted them to do. Respect that.

Bonnie YOU are a IDIOT!! The people who post anonymous do so for the sake of their jobs and families! Why do we want her to know who we are, where we live or anything along those lines? Next thing we know she will around the corner KILLING us while we sleep. Then his parents will support her AGAIN! Maybe they will be next, who knows. Maybe since you support them so much you will be next. If you are such a christian then how can you support a family that supports a MURDERER?? Maybe you need to check you moral beliefs!! God sure doesn't teach us to support people like her. Give us a break!! We are safe when she doesn't know who we are! I'm a lot more afraid of the bitter angry people like the ones posting here than I ever would be of the Witherspoons.
I am not an idiot and am entitled to my feelings and opinions just as you are and respect how you feel. Wish you could muster a little. I'm not satan or a moron, just a person that feels like this whole situation is a mess and sad and that there are a lot of people being hurt that don't deserve to be. Maybe I just see things differently or I believe its not my job to judge. I want the right decision to come out of this trial, whatever that happens to be. God knows what happened and I trust that if He knows she killed that man in cold blood then she will be found guilty and punished. If not, then she won't. Nobody else on this earth knows what really happened...other than Misty and God. I'm not going to be her judge and jury, but I am confident that God will see to it His will is done. I'll be satisfied with that. Will you?
I know Misty personally and I can tell you she is a good, loving mother and her kids need her. Those children have lost their father and shouldn't have to be with out their mother. The Witherspoons are the nicest people you would ever meet, in your life! They support Misty because they are kind and understanding. It is a shame that others can not be more supportive and respectful of the Witherspoons opinion and right to support Misty. Misty knows that she is blessed to have such a wonderful families surrounding her. She does not take that for granted. God bless the Witherspoon & Keller families!

It sounds to me that they are all in bed together.
My daughter-in-laws have told me they would never kill my sons but if they did something so unforgivable please do not support them. Anyone who could take the life of their childrens father deserves to be put under the jail.
I didnt know misty but i did know quinn. I only wish I knew back then what I Know now. Im so sorry I miss you.
