Amendments of the Constitution
Article 1:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or PROHIBITING the free exercise thereof; or abridging the FREEDOM OF SPEECH, or of the press; or for the RIGHT of the people to peaceably assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievance.
STATE LAW PROTECTING FREE EXPRESSION:
The federal Constitution establishes the minimum amount of freedom that must be afforded to individuals under the FIRST AMENDMENT. State constitutions may offer their residents more freedom of speech than is offered under the federal Constitution, BUT NOT LESS.
It was very apparent that the FIRST AMENDMENT does not apply in court room one of the Iredell County courthouse. Yes, it is hanging on the wall of the main floor of the courthouse, but I guess that is to give you the illusion that the Constitution is applied in the court room.
If the judge hasw no faith in the competense of the jury that was picked, and does not feel that they can make their own educated decision from the testimony and evidence that has been presented in that court room, then sequester them. I live in Iredell County and pay taxes. Please use my tax dollars to pay for their stay in hotel to sequestered. Apparently my tax paying dollars do not go the property and the building, and the salaries of the Iredell County Courthouse employees. Is their a private fund that excludes this government entity from the Constitution of the United States? If so, may I review the records?!?
I finally got the full understanding why there is such controversy with the Confederate flag and the African Americans. I now understand where they are coming from with suppression and oppression. It is still alive and well in Iredell County. Thanks for that education today.
I will continue to excercise my FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, and I will continue to show my support for Quinn with my signs on my vehicle. Yes, I will stand up and be heard and seen in the support of Quinn Witherspoon. His own family dosen't support him, and they were the ones that took offense! Not so confident with your daughter in laws defense and the lies that she has spewed and the money that she has stolen from YOUR church!
KEEP UP THE SUPPORT FOR QUINN AND BE PROUD OF IT!

Kristy Mueller please stop embarassing the Concord Police Department. Be respectful and be professional.
The embarassment is the lack support from the CONCORD POLICE DEPARTMENT and the lack of officer present for an officer that lost his life.
Don't blame one officer for trying to showing support and thinking others would acually do the same for this fallen officer.
I am just one person who has been able to see from the beginning of this trail that Misty has been less than truthful and that her story just doesn't add up.
The thing that amazes me the most is the lack of support from his own family and that they believe the person responsible for his death was an accident with all that has be presented in court.
The show of support from Officer Mueller is no way an embarassment or disrespectful towards Concord Police Deaprtment.
There is a smarty patooty amoung us.. The Comments are all anonymous..It is not a embarassment to support a fallen officer. Even if it was Officer Mueller that wrote in about supporting Quinn. Maybe you should do the same rather than point fingers. Freedom of speach. Whomever Wrote in Kristy are not I say Kudos...Quinn needs all the support he can get..
My wife and I appreciate and applaud the efforts that Officer Mueller has put forth to show her outward support of her fellow fallen officer, we too support it. The only embarassment and disrespect I see is from the author of the comment and the department they belong to. We knew Quinn and dearly miss him. We are sickened by the Witherspoon's maipulation of the media with Quinn's chidren. Quinn has always had our support and we pray that justice will prevail for him. God Bless

The only direspect and unprofessionalism I see is from the person who wrote the comment and the department they are with. This not the place for those comments.

Well, if you all want to go to a really fun pool party, you need to stop by the Witherspoon "compound" today. Such festivities and joviality, it almost warms the heart...That is, until one remembers that a young father was shot in the back of his head while sleeping inside that house just two years ago.
Maybe it's just me, but if it was me waiting for a verdict to come in, I would be in a much more somber and reflective mood. I certainly wouldn't feel like partying, that much I can tell you. I need to go and look up the definition of "sociopath" again.
